Whitewater Rafting in Rotorua!

Posted on in Rafting News by Sam Sutton

There are few things that make one’s heart leap and adrenaline flow: sky-diving, bungee-jumping, Christmas morning. It’s easy to get around New Zealand seeing and doing many things that will make your heart race, give you that amazing buzz that adrenaline produces as it flashes through your bones.

New Zealand is small enough and has enough coasts, mountains, rivers, lakes and forests to make any other country envious.  You can spend your morning sight-seeing volcanoes from a helicopter, lunchtime swimming with dolphins, and evening mountain-biking through the giant Redwoods of Rotorua.

If you go bungee-jumping, you’ll have an adrenaline boost for about 30 seconds. Go sky-diving and you’ll feel it for about 5 minutes. But coming rafting on the Kaituna and you’ll spend an hour with adrenaline circling your veins!!!

Rotorua Rafting has been in operation for nearly 2 months now.  We have been so blessed to have such awesome paddlers come rafting with us. They are adrenalin junkies at heart and that look of joy on their face when we raft the waterfalls makes it all so worthwhile. Few are the pleasures like seeing people that came rafting with us a couple weeks ago step off the van with a new batch of friends to bring rafting.  They know what awaits and that’s why they run to get their lifejackets and helmets on!
