Rotorua Ziplining - A zipline experience like no other

Born from a deep connection with the Ōkere Awa (Kaituna River), Rotorua Ziplines is more than just an adventure, it’s a journey into the heart of nature, culture, and conservation.

A joint venture between Rotorua Rafting and local iwi Ngāti Pikiao, this 2.5-hour experience takes you high above the river, gliding across four breathtaking ziplines and over the world-famous 7-metre Tutea Falls. Between flights, you’ll wander along elevated boardwalks, cross a swing bridge, and immerse yourself in the lush Ōkere Falls forest.

Along the way, your expert guides will share stories of the land, its people, and the traditions that continue to shape the awa today. You’ll sip ancient native teas, breathe in the native bush, and be part of something bigger - our mission to plant 60,000 native trees by the end of 2025 through our reforestation project.
